Atascadero All Comers Track Meets
Thank you for joining us in 2017!
From the director:
This was an amazing year of Atascadero All Comers Track and Field Meets. We had great volunteers; fun, friendly, hard working and consistently there! There were many parents who stepped up to help as well. And the kids were so much fun! They loved sharing their racing and competing stories. One kid was very excited to tell me that he was running the "hurdles" (those were the kids "low" hurdles) and how he was going to rock it! Another great comment was at the last meet of the summer at the last race of the night. A young man asked me if this was their "last game." Precious, every one of them.
It has been a pleasure to work with my husband, Atascadero Greyhound Foundation and all the volunteers to create this healthy, outdoors, family event for the community of Atascadero and surrounding communities, some as far away as Bakersfield.
